I am founder of Barnraiser; a non for profit organisation dedicated to giving people the tools they need to share knowledge and advance open society through social software. I maintain all Barnraiser free software projects including Prairie, Roundhouse and Dutch.
Prior to this I was a systems architect and have lectured on, consulted on and developed Internet based solutions since 1996.
I have received awards including a BAFTA award for my work with children's educational interactivity projects at the BBC and for my work with Disney and Macromedia (now Adobe).
For my activities and thoughts outside of my work with Barnraiser please visit my blog.I am working on Barnraiser development throughout September. In October I start in a new role as reservations manager for Tradewinds Cruise Club where I will be focused on creating and optimizing systems for the clubs membership.

My work with Tradewinds Cruise Club will take me to Bequia, a small Island in St.Vincent and the Grenadines. Whilst there I will be on the look out for a 40+ft Ketch or similar yacht as a live aboard renovation project. I also want to learn how to sail at sea... many fun challenges all of which will appear in my blog.
